Im looking to get 2 kiteboards.
Taj 5'11" I am sure for 3 to 4 meter faces in hard wind or perfect hollow waves in low wind.
I need a second board that gets me going in 12 to 20 knots and mushy onshore conditions.
    I am 1m80cm 77KG or 5'9" and 169lbs.
I have 3 kites 5,7, 9 good high end, low end is not the best

Should I go for quadra -5 6'0 "or the dominator 5'8" or yet an other one.

My skill level is quite advanced I think.(Starting to trow aerials of the lip)
    Strapless riding only!!

That 5'11" will serve you well. For a light wind board, tough call. The quadra 5 or Dom will do the trick but don't disguard the 5'6" Hellfire. I'm about the same size as you and have made the Hellfire my lightwind board. It's got a little more high performance shape to it than the other two and benefit of the 5 fin setup so lots of options for fin configuration. Where do you live? Maybe a demo is in order.

    Hi Brian

    I am living in Belgium.
The hellfire looks quite nice beceause it can serve as a spare board when going on holiday or when the conditions are not so perfect.(But still quite good)
If it was available in 5'8" the choice would be even more difficult.
I have quite a wide stance when surfing my board.
It worry's me that I am going to plant the nose when the board is too short.
I like trusters a lot beceause of the natural surf. A quad set up seems to block my bottom and I do not get the release I normaly like.
Maybe it is just a habit and i need to get used to a quad.
I know it is faster and It can bite harder in the bottomturn in choppy conditions.
Maybe it is in my head and I need to get over it.
    Thanks for you're feedback.

    Nice shot Stijn.

Don't think we have anyone in Belgium for a demo.

The Taj is definitely a great pick for your first board. The 5'6" Hellfire has a lot of volume and you'd be surprised how well that board will do even with a wider stance. I doubt you will be burying the nose on that board, it's pretty versatile.
