    I'm 5'10, 155 lbs...50 yrs young, kiting for 1 1/2 yrs...
Kite in gulf of mexico, mostly onshore winds 15-25mph... Choppy 1-4' most of the time... The 5'8 dominator looks good, being wide and floaty and flatter rocker (help w/jibing and lulls) but am wondering if it will be too bouncy at higher speeds...My skills are improving (kite 4-5 days /week) so maybe another board will be better for me to grow into.....We do get bigger swell occasionally w / higher winds... Looking for a 1 board answer.. If possible....

    Appreciate any responses...
    Thanks

    Hey B2fli, tough call...

My guess is you will continue to improve rapidly since your on the water a lot. I'm around the same size/weight and would recommend the KHF506D, 5'6" Hellfire as that will give you some growing room. It's perfectly suited for LV or Los Barilles, will work well in light wind or heavy wind and you can configure it as a quad or tri-fin. The 5'8" Dom may give you a little more stability early on but I'd guess you'd outgrow it. It will also have a ton of float for your size which may hold you back when it get's really windy.
