    Hi guys,

I am very proud to have the taj 5'11" en the kqf600s quadra-s in my possesion.
But wat when I ding one of my boards?(small dings cracks in a kiteboardconstruction)
Does the core(the eps) of the board takes water?
When I am on holiday can I do a quick repair with an UV drying epoxy-resin(solaris) and repair the board when I am back home.
How kan you best dry out the board before repairing(if it takes water naturally).
    Thanks
    grtz Stijn

    Howdy,

If you get small cracks in the rail or on the board first check and see if they are taking on water. See if you can suck any air in with your mouth. If you can't then the board can probably wait until you return home for any repair. Solar-res is fine to use. Definitely make sure all the moisture is out of the board before repairing it. Usually leaving it in a warm room with the ding facing towards the floor for a week will suffice.

    Hi Brian,

I have a few tiny hairline spider cracks on my rail from bumps against my harness.

Will these likely take on water and what is the best option to deal with these?

    Thanks
    Ian

    Hey carbo,

Most likely these are just cosmetic but you should give them the old suck test and see if you can get any air to pass through them. If you get air or water to come out then let the board dry out for several days and have it repaired.
