"We believe that refinements to the shape of today's modern surfboard can only produce incremental performance benefits"

"Exponential improvements in performance can only be achieved through new materials and construction methods which in turn will open up new design opportunities"

220 lbs here and the f4 v2 where not enough fin and I'm currently using Simon Anderson's which really slow the board down. I'm thinking of picking up a set of Rasta Quads as they seem to be in between the two in terms of area.

So the question I have is: Is there anybody using the Rasta's on there board for kitesurfing. I'm looking for bite in bottom turns, speed down the line to clear sections, release up top, and good board speed to keep up with my kites which equals good up wind performance.

The board is used mainly in onshore light wind semi clean to mushy waves.

I'm your size and running Stretch quads on my 5-9 El Fuego. Fast and loose but not quite as good upwind as the SAs, and about the same size as the Rastas. You can also try smaller trailers like your v2s with the SA fronts - keeps the upwind ability but loosens up the tail - I like this combo for light winds.

I actually went out and bought a set of the Rastas today. I got to try them out and was very happy with the performance. The conditions where light winds and waist high waves with the occasional head high. The board had a lot more speed, rode up wind well, and felt solid in the turns. I had some down the line ridding but not many cut backs. The few I did felt great and the board quickly reacted to any input. I'm going to take your advice and try the SA with the f4 v2 trailers to see the difference.
