Donated Firewire Surfboards make a splash with Share the Stoke Foundation

Thanks to all those involved with Share the Stoke Foundation for giving Firewire, and other companies within the surf industry, the platform to provide the youth of the world with donated goods. Making a difference!

“Greetings!

It has been an amazing year full of accomplishment at Share The Stoke Foundation. Together with our sponsors we have kept over 50 kids off the street by giving them surfboards. These kids live in Florida, California, Nicaragua and Costa Rica. The boys and girls range in ages from 9-17 years old. Some of these kids are ripping up the waves already and we are clear that this simple gift has changed their lives.

2012 will be a big year for us as we will host our first annual Share The Stoke Day. This day will be in South Florida and will be aimed at gathering families at the beach to celebrate everything ocean. We will host information booths to educate people on cleaner and greener living solutions, give away surfboards, and offer free surf lessons. Keep your eyes out for an invitation to the event which will happen this coming summer.

If you like the work we do and are wondering what to give as a gift this holiday season make a tax deductible donation in someone’s name to Share the Stoke Foundation. We will send a photo and a note about a kid we have impacted because of people like you. Additionally, we will provide a tax deferred letter for your 2011 records and in the event that your company matches donations you can submit it to them for matching dollars. You can donate here: http://sharethestokefoundation.com/content/donate. You can also stoke your friends and family out with some of our hip gear. http://sharethestokefoundation.com/accessories

Special thanks to Firewire Surfboards, Sticky Bumps, Ocean and Earth, Bird Surfboards, and Badger Balm suntan lotion. Additionally, we love and appreciate all of the support from our friends and family. We look forward to a huge 2012 and can’t wait to keep kids off the street together. Keep spreading the word and invite at risk kids to send us a note about their desires to surf.

Love, hope and understanding in 2012!”
