Lisa Andersen is an American with 4x World Titles, which were won in succession from 1994 to 1997. She was ASP's Rookie of the Year in 1987, and was named one of the 100 'Greatest Sportswomen of the Century' by Sports Illustrated for Women. She also was a 2x winner of Surfer Magazine's Readers Poll, and in 2002 was inducted into the Surfer's Hall of Fame, and the Surfer's Walk of Fame in 2004. After her 1997 World Title, an injury forced her to stop competing, but she later returned in 2000 after recovery.
