Surf 'N Show Review: Mindcraft by Daniel Thomson

Press play above to watch Noel Salas and Surf 'N Show's review on the all-new Mindcraft in I-Bolic 2.0 Technology by Daniel Thomson. In this review, Noel surfs a stock 5'5" in the wave pool in Waco, Texas (he's 5'9" and 165 lbs), Wooly from Star Surf Australia surfs a stock 5'11" in Western Australia (he's 6'1" and 193 lbs), and Noel's buddy Joel surfs a stock 5'10" in Northern California (he's 6'2" and 200 lbs).

In this episode, Noel gives a thorough review of the all-new Mindcraft, it's characteristics, how it works with different fin sets and configurations including the Endorfins KSR Fin Set, and how it fits into your quiver as a daily driver.

Meet the Mindcraft designed by Kelly Slater (@kellyslater) and Daniel Thomson (@tomo_surfboards), a minimalist shape designed for pure function. Built in our patented I-Bolic 2.0 Technology, and grom sizes (5'2" and under) built in our all-new G-Flex Technology.

The Mindcraft was designed to connect the surfer to their equipment like never before, a mind surfing experience from the minds of two visionaries. The outline was chosen for its minimalism and pure function, "a seamless blend of straightened elliptical curves," says Daniel. The shape and design provide tons of speed and drive, with a feeling of pinpoint precision and the ability to turn on a dime - this board stays under your feet and goes where you want it to go.

The bottom contours are smoother, more continuous, and more subtle compared to Tomo's past models, offering plenty of speed and flow with a moderate performance rocker. There's a single to double concave that keeps the design engaged with the wave face while still offering lively response familiar to Tomo's other designs.

Pair with Kelly Slater's newest rake template, the Endorfins KSR Fin Set as either a Quad or a Thruster, allowing for maximum versatility in waves 2-6 foot.
